Julián no puede emigrar a otro club ni puede jugar en el Atlético de Madrid. It is no secret that Barcelona has treated some of its great figures poorly. Two of the greatest players of all time, Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi, both had highly disappointing endings with the club.
Real Madrid has not always shown better judgment either. One need only look at the cases of Alfredo Di Stéfano, another of the four greatest players of all time, who left on poor terms and finished his career with other clubs, and Raúl González (Raúl), a prolific goalscorer who was used and then cast aside.
Now, Atlético de Madrid appears to be entering an era of sheer foolishness.
